2026-2027 WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY - SELAH
FRIDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY
9:30 am - 12:00 pm
Our Friday morning Bible Study begins with live worship and live Bible teaching with Michelle Randall, followed by small group discussion where you'll talk through the week's homework from the study guide.
We also offer a Bible study group for moms with newborns and young babies, creating a place where every woman can be part of the study.
Childcare is available for babies in the nursery and children through preschool.
FRIDAY HOMESCHOOL BIBLE STUDY
9:30 am - 12:00 pm
Our Friday Homeschool Bible Study begins with worship and live Bible teaching led by our Youth Ministry pastors and leaders. While moms are in the women's Bible study, homeschool students review their Psalms Bible lessons and participate in fun activities and fellowship.
The K-5th grade children will study the same lesson that their moms study, with age-appropriate lessons designed for them. Jr high children will get the same study guide book that women receive.

Can't make it to Friday morning because of work? We have a new Thursday night option for you!
On Thursday nights, you’ll have live worship, followed by small-group table time to review the Bible study. Watch the lesson from the previous week online whenever it fits your schedule, doe the homework, and come ready to discuss.

Selah Bible Study FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)
What will we be studying?
We’ll be studying the book of Psalms together. Each week, we’ll spend time in worship, study God’s Word, discuss what we’re learning, and encourage one another as we grow in our faith.
When can I register for Bible study?
Registration for Bible study begins Sunday, August 16, both in person at church and online at calvarywomen.net. You can also call 949-443-2572 to register by phone. You can register during any time of the Bible study year.
What is the cost for Bible study and what does it include?
The cost for the 2026–2027 study is $28 for the year, which includes your workbook. You can purchase additional books as gifts or for friends in our Calvary Store.
When does Bible study begin?
Friday mornings will begin on September 25th and Thursday nights will begin on October 1st.
Can I join my friends in a small group?
Yes! You’re welcome to request to be placed in a group with your friends during the registration process. While we’ll do our best to accommodate requests, but group placement is not guaranteed.
Do I need to attend Calvary South OC to participate?
No! Our Women’s Bible Study is open to all women. Whether you regularly attend Calvary South OC, are new to the church, or are simply looking for a place to study God’s Word and connect with other women, we would love to have you join us.
Do I need to attend every week?
We encourage you to attend each week as you’re able. Consistent attendance allows you to get the most out of the study and build meaningful relationships with the women in your group. We understand that life happens, and there may be times when you need to miss a week.
What should I bring to Bible study?
Bring your Bible, your Psalms workbook, and a willingness to learn and grow with other women!
Also bring a sweater or jacket, just in case it is colder than you prefer.
How will I receive my workbook?
You’ll receive your workbook on the first day of Bible study.
Is there childcare?
FRIDAYS: Yes! Childcare is available for children from nursery through preschool for $25 per child for the entire Bible study year. Our childcare teachers will be here for 3 hours from 9:15am for drop off until pickup by 12:15pm.
Is there a Bible study option for homeschool students?
Yes, on Friday mornings only!
We’re excited to continue this special opportunity for homeschool students to study Psalms alongside you this year. While you participate in your Bible study and small group, your children will learn in their own classroom and complete homework alongside you at home. The cost is $28 per student for the entire Bible study year, which includes their study guides.
K-5th graders and Junior High School homeschoolers.
Please note: You must be registered for Friday Bible Study and on-site while your child is in their homeschool class.
Why is Thursday night Bible Study shorter than Friday morning Bible Study?
Our hope is to make Bible study accessible for women who cannot attend Friday mornings because they work, while still providing the opportunity to study God’s Word and grow alongside other women.
That’s why our Thursday night Bible Study is designed a little differently. Michelle’s Friday teaching will be recorded and available to watch at your convenience at calvarywomen.net or on the CSOC app. You can watch the teaching when it works best for your schedule and complete your homework before coming Thursday night.
Then, from 6:30–8:00pm, we’ll gather for live worship followed by small group time around the tables to discuss the lesson and pray together.
